Masjid Tariq bin Ziyad

HOME4712

Masjid Tariq bin Ziyad within Qurtuba Estate is named after the conqueror of Córdoba and epitomizes the beautiful aesthetic elements that Muslim rule brought to Spain. These influences of Islamic art coupled with a quiet and peaceful setting, ensure that the structure is more than just an additional amenity in the Qurtuba Estate; rather, it is the heart of the entire Qurtuba Precinct. The Masjid holds a capacity of a 430 musallees and occupies a space in the centre of Qurtuba Estate, a place where the community comes together, their hearts beating as one, in the remembrance of Allah, serving as a daily reminder of the Islamic principles which form the essence of the Qurtuba vision.
